A temple associated with Shinran Shonin
Komyoji Temple was built by Myoku, a disciple of Shinran Shonin.
It features a linden tree planted by Shinran Shonin and a holly tree planted by Myoku.
This temple also houses precious cultural properties, such as the wooden standing statue of Prince Shotoku, which has been designated a Cultural Property by Ibaraki Prefecture.
