Ruins of the castle where the Tagaya clan lived
These are the ruins of a castle that served as a residence of the Tagaya clan, who became a powerful force in this region in the Warring States period.
It was once called Shimotsuma Castle, but was later called Tagaya Castle after the name of the lord.
The site is now Tagaya Castle Ruins Park.
